Actor | Presenter | MC | Voice Artist

Jessica Stafford is an Australian Actress & Presenter.

Born and raised in Melbourne, Victoria, Jessica began studying acting at a young age with Judy Banks on the Mornington Peninsula, completing a Diploma of Television and Dramatic Art. Through her early twenties she found success as a sports and body model, competing in many national and international swimsuit competitions and was crowned Miss Superbabe Australia 2004. This achievement took her to London where she worked in Fashion and TV.

Upon returning to Australia Jessica began focusing on her acting and presenting, appearing in many local and international productions. She is also an Australian accredited stunt performer (MEAA SAP), allowing her to perform her own stunts wherever possible and diversifying her skills as an action-actress.

She is an experienced presenter both on camera and as a live host and MC, with her infectious smile shining through on countless TVC’s, corporate productions and large-scale live events, such as Brisbane Fashion Runway and The Gold Coast Pet and Animal Expo.

Jessica spent 7 years as one of Australia’s most sought-after Civil Celebrant/MC’s, hosting many high-profile weddings and celebrations for sports stars and celebrities alike. Jessica’s MC work saw her win 6 national and international wedding industry awards.

Jessica can also be heard presenting on-air as an Announcer with 94.1FM Gold Coast Radio. When she’s not in the studio, she is reporting live from local events & assisting the team with news preparation, producing & programming. She also consults as a media trainer for the TV Training Academy at their Brisbane campus, where she shares her knowledge and experience with students wanting to learn the foundations of presenting and industry professionals wanting to hone their skills.

Off camera, Jessica’s passion is animals and has worked alongside many of Australia’s animal and marine organisations as both a hands-on volunteer and ambassador. Most recently she hosted the RSPCA “Pop Up Adoption 2019” in Brisbane with an audience of around 15,000 and continues to work alongside RSPCA QLD in events and media as an official RSPCA QLD Ambassador.

After having her own brush with melanoma, Jessica joined Melanoma Patients Australia as an Ambassador in 2019 in the hope to help raise awareness of early detection and to support melanoma patients, their loved ones and to honour those who have lost their battle. She looks forward to hosting their annual gala events.

Jessica’s warm personality, years of experience and sense of adventure make her the perfect personality for your production, event or campaign. Jessica is based on the Gold Coast and happily travels for work.

Jessica is represented by Epic Talent Management.

When I was diagnosed with early-stage malignant melanoma at 37, life for me changed. I’ve been cancer-free since my surgery, but unfortunately, not all melanoma warriors are as lucky. One person every five hours will die from melanoma in Australia. Read more on my blog

what other industry professionals have to say…

2017 Brisbane Fashion Runway (MC/event host)

“Jess is an extremely talented professional. We hired Jess to work with us as the official host and MC for our event, Brisbane Fashion Runway on November 3 2017 in Brisbane. Jess’s graceful nature, wit, charm, intelligence and fun personality shone through the entire evening and the audience was kept captivated. I had to give Jess minimal instructions, because she was extremely competent and able to understand what I wanted to achieve. I strongly recommend Jess for any event or project – you can rest assured whatever she does, she will do it with absolute professionalism. Plus, she is an absolute pleasure to deal with. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!””

“Tradies” TV Series (supporting role, “Kathleen Callaway”)

“I directed Jess on a pilot of Tradies where she played a powerful & sassy Divorcee. She was extremely committed to her role, always asking questions and keen for instruction to refine her character. I would highly recommend Jess to anyone wanting a dedicated character actress who has a focus on perfection. I’m looking forward to working with her again as the show progresses.”

“It’s Not You. It’s Bree.” TV Series (supporting role, “Cass”)

Jessica Stafford was cast to play the role of the “nudist” Cass on my television series, It’s Not You. It’s Bree, set to air on Channel 31 in 2012. Throughout the 12 months spent filming the series, Jess was one of the members of the cast I could most depend on to be prepared and on set on time, always with a smile and a fantastic attitude. Not only was she a great asset to the cast and crew team, she played the role of Cass with a quirky and fun approach, I myself had not foreseen for the character but loved as soon as I saw what Jess had brought to the table. In what could be considered a difficult proposition (acting basically in the nude), Jess was able to do so whilst anchoring some of the most hilarious and odd moments of the series. She was truly a joy to work with. I would strongly recommend Jessica Stafford for any role you may be considering her for.

Jess became an RSPCA Queensland Ambassador in 2017 and is an absolute gem to have on board! She is always keen to assist the charity and goes above and beyond in her support of our animals, events and campaigns.

Jess is outstanding in her role as MC as well. Our 10,000+ visitors at events enjoy Jess’ poise and clarity.
